These are just a few of the many experimental thumbnails I created for my thesis. For these, I used an inverse kinematics machine that I coded in Processing with Java. The machine created mesmerizing patterns that I edited down into silhouettes of buildings. My reasoning behind this was to create thumbnails that would work within the cultural ideals of the society I created for my thesis. The people of this culture believe that mathematical fabrication is the pinnacle of physical beauty, therefore they seek to realize it in their surroundings, from their hair and clothes to their archieture.
